Job Description

Senior Databricks Developer (Full-Time)

Location: Remote (USA)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data engineering solutions using Databricks.
  • Build ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark and PySpark.
  • Develop data ingestion and transformation processes from multiple data sources.
  • Optimize Spark jobs for performance and scalability.
  • Implement Delta Lake architecture and data quality best practices.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Support CI/CD deployments and production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues.
  • Document technical solutions and follow Agile development practices.
  • Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards are met.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of Data Engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and Apache Spark.
  • Experience with Azure Databricks or AWS Databricks.
  • Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
  • Experience with Delta Lake, Data Lake, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
  • Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
