Position Summary

Seeking a Development Manager to lead an engineering team responsible for building and enhancing enterprise applications supporting small businesses. The role focuses on engineering execution, team development, delivery quality, and operational reliability.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership, people management, and delivery experience, with the ability to guide engineers, remove blockers, and collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineers through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
• Own engineering delivery, planning, prioritization, release readiness, and execution.
• Guide technical decisions and promote best practices in code quality, testing, secure coding, and maintainability.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, QA, and Scrum teams to align priorities and resolve blockers.
• Drive continuous improvement in SDLC, CI/CD, automation, and engineering practices.
• Identify delivery risks and ensure application reliability and production readiness.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing team development.

Required Qualifications

• Experience leading software development teams delivering production applications in Agile environments.
• Strong software engineering background in .NET, C#, Azure, or comparable enterprise technologies.
• Proven experience in people management, coaching, and performance development.
• Experience owning delivery outcomes, managing priorities, and resolving technical and operational challenges.
• Knowledge of SDLC, code quality, testing, CI/CD, secure coding, and production support.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, banking, payments, or regulated environments.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams or shared engineering services.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Kafka, or AI-enabled services.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Codex, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.
