Job Summary

• Seeking a Data Scientist to support critical systems and provide analytical and technical support to mission, policy, and decision-making stakeholders
• This position will help scope projects, develop workflow-integration use cases, analyze data, and create metrics, dashboards, and visualizations

Primary Responsibilities

• Support critical mission systems and associated operational activities
• Collaborate with policy, mission, and decision-making stakeholders
• Scope technical and analytical projects based on mission needs
• Develop use cases for integrating tools, data, and processes into existing workflows
• Develop and maintain metrics and performance measures
• Build dashboards and data visualizations
• Analyze operational and organizational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Support collaborative information and data-management activities

Required Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SharePoint
• Python proficiency
• Ability to scope projects and translate mission needs into actionable use cases
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Desired Qualifications

• Experience developing metrics
• Dashboard development experience
• Data visualization experience
• Experience supporting critical mission systems

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

135,000 - 180,000 USD per year (Ft. Meade MD)
