Senior Data Software Engineer, AWS Lambda

We are seeking a Senior Data Software Engineer to join the MDG Tech team, responsible for designing, operating and supporting the end-to-end MDM integration flow between Syndigo and legacy systems, including inbound/outbound processing, mapping, error handling and operational monitoring. Responsibilities Take shared ownership in the development of the technical integration across Syndigo, legacy and downstream interfaces Ensure data quality and mapping consistency between inbound source files and outbound update messages Support production stability through monitoring, alerting and dead-letter queue handling Build a maintainable and scalable solution that supports both initial load and ongoing update flows Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align integration solutions with business requirements Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and system reliability Requirements 3+ years of experience in data engineering at a senior level Expertise in AWS (DynamoDB, Lambdas, SQS, ECS, Fargate), Confluent Kafka and Terraform Proficiency in Python and SQL Skills in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins Background in cloud integration and MDM/Syndigo Solid understanding of data flows, interfaces, mappings and production support considerations AWS certification English proficiency at B2 level or higher Nice to have Experience with data governance and master data management Background in the fashion retail industry
