The Role

  • Design and implement information assurance and security engineering systems, considering business continuity, operational security, and compliance.
  • Assess and mitigate system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle.
  • Validate system security requirements, establish security designs, and implement them across hardware, software, data, and procedures.
  • Perform system certification and accreditation planning, testing, and liaison activities.
  • Support secure systems operations and maintenance.
  • Configure and validate secure systems, test security products, and perform vulnerability analysis.

What You'll Need

  • High School diploma with 9+ years of commensurate experience or a relevant degree.
  • 5 years of experience as a security engineer for hardware and software.
  • Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) system administration experience.
  • Experience configuring Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and performing scans.
  • Security+ Certification (or equivalent).
  • A Secret security clearance is required.
