About the Opportunity

Indigitise is seeking experienced Senior Power Platform Engineers for a secure Australian Government client. The role will design and deliver business solutions across Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse and Power Pages. It also covers enterprise ALM, environment governance, security, CI/CD integration, BAU support, mentoring and knowledge transfer.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design and build responsive canvas Power Apps for mobile and desktop, applying sound UX, reusable components and offline capability where required.
  • Develop model-driven Power Apps with custom forms, views, business process flows and PowerApps Component Framework controls.
  • Design and maintain Dataverse data models, including tables, columns, relationships, choices, calculated fields and business rules.
  • Configure Dataverse security roles, column-level security, business units and team ownership models.
  • Build Power Automate cloud flows for automated, instant and scheduled business processes across connected systems.
  • Develop Power Automate Desktop attended and unattended RPA solutions for legacy system automation.
  • Configure standard and custom connectors, environment level connections and data loss prevention policies.
  • Author Power BI reports, dashboards and paginated reports using DAX, semantic modelling, hierarchies and row level security.
  • Manage Power BI workspaces, deployment pipelines, dataflows and Premium capacity across development, test and production environments.
  • Configure Dynamics 365 modules, forms, views, dashboards, business process flows and solution layers.
  • Integrate Dynamics 365 and Power Platform with Microsoft Graph API, Azure Integration Services and the connector ecosystem.
  • Implement Power Platform ALM, managed solutions and automated deployment using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, while supporting CoE governance, documentation and training.
Requirements Essential Skills and Experience
  • At least 5 years of hands on Microsoft Power Platform experience covering Power Apps (canvas and model driven), Power Automate, Power BI and Power Pages, including experience within a Landing Zone construct.
  • Demonstrated Dataverse expertise across data modelling, security roles, business rules, plug ins, custom connectors and solution management.
  • Dynamics 365 configuration and customisation experience in at least one module such as Customer Service, Field Service or an equivalent business application.
  • Strong Power BI Desktop and Service capability across report authoring, DAX, semantic modelling, row level security, deployment pipelines and dataflows.
  • Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management experience covering environment strategy, managed solutions and CI/CD integration through Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in government or another highly regulated environment, with practical understanding of ISM controls and Essential Eight requirements.
  • Ability to work in Canberra and attend the client premises as required under the hybrid arrangement.
  • Current NV1 clearance, or Australian citizenship and demonstrated willingness and eligibility to obtain NV1 and complete the client suitability assessment.
Highly Regarded Skills and Certifications
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL 200, PL 400, PL 600 or PL 300.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications such as MB 210, MB 240 or an equivalent module specific credential.
  • Microsoft Copilot Studio experience covering bot design, topic authoring, entity extraction and channel integration.
  • Azure integration experience using Logic Apps, Azure Functions and Service Bus for hybrid integration scenarios.
