Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead the safe and successful delivery of rail projects across reactive, planned, and framework-based works. You'll drive operational excellence, support continuous improvement, and lead high-performing teams while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of current and future rail works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes, IMS functionality, automation, and system integration.
  • Drive initiatives that optimise performance, reduce risk, and improve project outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Essential Requirements
  • Proven project or works delivery experience within the rail or transport sector.
  • Experience delivering reactive and framework-based projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills across multiple sites.
  • Good knowledge of rail safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office. Desirable
  • APM, PMP, or PRINCE2 qualification.
  • Experience working within Network Rail or similar client frameworks.
