Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the engineering workshop team to deliver high quality repair and overhaul services for industrial motors and associated equipment
  • Ensure full compliance with all HSEQ policies, procedures, and safety standards across workshop and Insite operations.
  • Manage workshop performance to achieve P&L targets, including revenue growth, gross margin, and operational efficiency.
  • Act as a senior technical and operational contact for customers, delivering effective solutions and maintaining strong client relationship.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean processes and best practice engineering standards.
  • Allocate engineering resources effectively to maximise productivity, service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales and operational teams to support business growth, customer visits, and development of new opportunities.

Key Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop engineering teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering repair operations within an industrial environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to make sound operational decisions under pressure.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing workshop performance, KPIs and financial targets.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with customers, stakeholders, and cross functional teams.
  • Organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in IT systems, engineering software, and reporting tools with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
