Senior/Lead Forward Deployed AI Engineer – GenAI / Fixed Income

Role Summary

Seeking a Senior/Lead AI Engineer to work directly with Fixed Income business teams and build production-ready GenAI/Agentic AI solutions. The candidate must combine strong Python/software engineering, hands-on LLM/GenAI development, and Capital Markets/Fixed Income knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Fixed Income traders, sales, operations, risk, compliance, and technology teams.
• Build production-grade GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI applications.
• Develop solutions using Python, OpenAI/Claude Agent SDK, LLM APIs, MCP, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Build RAG pipelines, vector search, embeddings, and semantic search across enterprise data.
• Implement prompt engineering, AI evaluation, hallucination testing, output validation, and monitoring.
• Work with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise data sources.
• Ensure security, privacy, auditability, compliance, and AI governance.
• Translate business problems into technical solutions and drive prototypes into production.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years overall software/engineering experience
• Strong Python development
• Generative AI / LLM application development
• OpenAI / Claude Agent SDK or similar Agentic AI frameworks
• RAG, Vector Databases, Embeddings, Semantic Search
• Prompt Engineering & LLM Evaluation
• APIs, Databases, Cloud & Enterprise Integration
• Strong stakeholder/client-facing communication
• Capital Markets / Fixed Income experience preferred

Strongly Preferred

• Fixed Income / Trading / Capital Markets / Banking
• Knowledge of Rates, Credit, Securitized Products, Municipals, FX, or Derivatives
• MCP integrations / Agentic workflows
• AI Governance / Model Risk / Compliance
• Experience in Forward-Deployed Engineering / Consulting / Client Engineering
