Job Description

Catastrophe Analytics Opportunities | Leading Global Insurer

We're currently partnered with a major global insurer that is continuing to invest heavily in its Catastrophe Analytics and Exposure Management function. Due to ongoing growth, they're looking to hire across two levels within a high-performing and rapidly expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that has embraced new technologies, analytical tools, and modelling capabilities. The team has a strong track record of internal progression, with several members achieving promotions in a relatively short space of time.

Lead Catastrophe Reporting Analyst

£90,000 - £105,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A more senior position within the team, offering significant exposure to strategic initiatives, senior stakeholders, and portfolio-level decision making.

Senior Catastrophe Reporting Analyst

£75,000 - £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Ideal for someone looking to build on existing Catastrophe Analytics or Exposure Management experience and take on broader commercial and strategic responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting portfolio steering and strategic decision-making through catastrophe risk insights and reporting.
  • Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities.
  • Delivering portfolio analytics across a diverse commercial and specialty insurance portfolio.
  • Developing and enhancing tools used by regional analytics and exposure management teams.
  • Working closely with Underwriting, Exposure Management, Portfolio Management, and senior business leaders.
  • Helping shape the future analytical landscape through the adoption of new modelling tools, reporting capabilities, and technology solutions.
  • Supporting strategic projects rather than focusing on day-to-day model production or routine portfolio runs.

What We're Looking For

Senior Catastrophe Reporting Analyst

  • 3+ years' experience within Catastrophe Modelling, Exposure Management, CAT Reporting, or Portfolio Analytics.
  • Strong analytical mindset with an interest in portfolio strategy and business decision making.

Lead Catastrophe Reporting Analyst

  • 4+ years' experience within Catastrophe Modelling, Exposure Management, CAT Reporting, or Portfolio Analytics.
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Why Join?

  • Join a young, ambitious, and growing team with a genuine history of quick promotions.
  • Work within a business that is continually investing in new software, tools, and analytics capabilities.
  • Gain visibility with senior leadership and key decision makers.
  • Move beyond pure model running into a role with real commercial impact.
  • Excellent long-term career prospects within a market-leading global insurer.

These opportunities would suit CAT Modellers, Exposure Management Analysts, CAT Reporting Analysts, or Portfolio Analytics professionals looking to broaden their remit and play a larger role in portfolio strategy and business planning.
