Job Summary and Qualifications
  • Coordinates in conjunction with the leadership team: respiratory competencies and ongoing education required for unit specific aspects of care.
  • Coordinates and/or performs a variety of staff development functions to include: department specific needs assessment, development of goals and objectives, implementation methods, evaluation measures and instruction of education activities
  • Assists the Director of Respiratory Therapy with maintaining and developing policies and procedure for the department.
  • Interprets the guidelines for the continuing respiratory education based upon professional practice guidelines
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, as needed to accommodate the need of the department

What qualifications you will need:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner Texas
  • Associate Degree required, Bachelors preferrede
  • 2 years experience preferred
