Position Details: Private Markets Team Lead- Remote-New York NY Location : Remote (EST OR CST Time zone specific) Duration : 6 months contract Pay-rate : $39 - 41/Hour on W2

Job Responsibilities-

• Produce and deliver high-quality internal and client-facing reporting, including responding to complex ad hoc investor requests.
• Review, interpret, and reconcile financial data from fund manager (GP) statements, identifying discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.
• Calculate, validate, and analyze private markets performance metrics, including IRR, TVPI, DPI, and cash-on-cash returns across portfolios.
• Partner across teams (fund accounting, treasury, performance, and client teams) to ensure consistency of data and alignment across reporting outputs.
• Prepare, structure, and analyze data for client performance reporting using Excel and industry-specific systems (current performance platform is Investran and data aggregation tool is Carta/Accelex).
• Compile and present performance reports and insights for both internal stakeholders and external clients, including explaining results and key drivers.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data quality, and enhance reporting efficiency, including leveraging automation tools (e.g., Copilot, Carta).
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; progress toward or completion of CFA/CPA/CAIA/CPM preferred.
• 4 7+ years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on alternative investments (private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure).
• Demonstrated experience in investment performance reporting, including calculation and review of IRR and other private markets performance metrics.
• Strong understanding of private markets fund structures, cash flow mechanics (capital calls/distributions), and valuation/reporting cycles.
• Experience working with and validating GP reporting and navigating limited transparency/data complexity in alternative investments.
• Advanced analytical skills with high attention to detail and ability to work with complex, multi-source datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (data manipulation, modeling) and familiarity with performance reporting or data platforms
