About the assignment
- Ratios around 1:40; unit acuity is very low
- Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years
- Traveler Experience required: Unit will accept 1st time traveler as long as they have skilled experience.
- Skills: nursing home care, vital sign and peripheral pulse assessment, blood glucose monitoring, diabetes care and insulin administration
- Certs: BLS
- Skills: skilled/rehabilitation setting, nephrostomy tube, suprapubic catheter, central line (PICC) and peripheral line care, Alzheimer's/dementia and stroke care
- Overtime: 40 total hours in 1 week: 1%
Requirements
- Active RN license for NC (compact accepted where applicable) and the Long-Term Care specialty
- 2+ years of recent Long-Term Care experience
- BLS
