Qualifications
  • 2 years (minimum) of experience in IT support is required for this role;
  • Existing helpdesk (ideally MSP) experience is highly desirable;
  • Experience supporting the mining industry is highly desirable;
  • Familiarity with hardware components including laptops, desktops, servers, storage devices, and network devices;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed (via company Uber account).
Responsibilities
  • As part of our award winning support desk team, you'll provide awesome first and second line tech support to our incredible customers;
  • Support hardware equipment including laptops, desktops, servers, storage devices, and network devices;
  • Support a vast array of software across many industries;
  • Handle on site visits for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs;
  • Escalate issues to Senior Technicians or vendors when necessary;
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest hardware and software trends and technologies.
Customer Service Focus
  • Customer confidence; we communicate with our clients in person and on the phone;
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, with the ability to provide advice to non technically minded customers;
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests;
  • Proactive problem solver with attention to detail.

Important

Applications must be from candidates living in or close to West Perth, WA. This role will operate on a roster that includes weekend working (eg. Thursday - Monday or Friday - Tuesday).
