Afternoon shift. Hands-on work. Great team.
Metroll Toowoomba is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Loader to join our team on the afternoon shift.
If you enjoy physical, hands-on work and take pride in getting the job done right, this could be the role for you.
You’ll help keep products moving by preparing, loading and securing steel and building products for dispatch, making sure customer orders are ready to go safely and on time.
What you’ll be doing
- Load and unload steel and building products safely
- Prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Check products against order details before loading
- Move and organise stock around the yard and warehouse
- Work closely with drivers, warehouse and production teams
- Keep loading areas clean, tidy and safe
- Follow workplace health and safety and load restraint procedures
What we’re looking for
You’re dependable, practical and safety-conscious, with a strong work ethic and a team-first attitude.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in a warehouse, yard, loading or manufacturing environment
- Ability to safely transport heavy and bulky products
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Good communication skills
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
A current forklift licence and experience handling steel or building products will be highly regarded.
