Ability to learn, adapt, and innovate on your own, with strong knowledge of Agile Development practices.

Good communication skills, both written and oral are required as the individual must interface with application developers, support teams, software vendors and management staff.  

Basic knowledge and/or experience with Mainframe z/OS, JCL, TSO, ISPF.

Developer background to aid with service ticket resolution from the user perspective.

Ability to work closely with internal user clients to resolve issues.

Mid-level knowledge of IBM Utilities i.e. IEBCOPY, IEBGENER, etc.

 

Responsibilities:

Vendor software Tool Administrator for: BMC DevX Code Pipeline/ISPW, BMC Topaz Workbench, IBM IDz v17.* , CA-JCLCHECK.

Demonstrate technical expertise and knowledge.

Lead resolution processes for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.

Develop technical solutions, automation of processes and lead individual or small team initiatives.

Communicate across various audiences including technical, managerial and vendors.

Participate in 24x7 on call rotation and be required to provide off hours support as necessary.

 

Preferred Job Skills:

•     Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in Information Technology

•     Experience with: Mainframe z/OS and Horizon platforms, z/OS USS, z/OS Connect, Jenkins, Ansible, IDZ and/or Eclipse based software.
