Job Title: Data Center Technician

Location: Palo Alto, California

Duration: Full Time Role

Pay Rate: $35-$45/Hr

About the opportunity:

Our firm is searching for Data Center Operations Technician / SiteOps professionals in Palo Alto.

This hands-on role supports the reliability and day-to-day operation of an active data center. You will troubleshoot and repair hardware, support equipment deployments, maintain accurate asset records, and respond to incidents in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data center operations or infrastructure support
• Hands-on experience with server deployments, hardware troubleshooting, break/fix work, cabling, rack-and-stack, and decommissioning
• Experience maintaining operational documentation, including SOPs, MOPs, rack elevations, asset records, and troubleshooting guides
• Strong understanding of server hardware, Linux/Windows fundamentals, power, cooling, and network infrastructure
• Experience with inventory management, audits, ticketing systems, and change management
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and document findings clearly
• Strong attention to detail and experience working in large-scale data center environments
• Scripting or automation experience with Python, Bash, APIs, Jira, or similar tools
