Corproate Coverage Banker - Carr Lyons

Middle Eastern Bank is looking to hire a Corporate Coverage Banker to join its UK Corporate Banking team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced banker with strong credit skills who enjoys managing client relationships, originating new business and delivering tailored financing solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate lending, with the ability to analyse complex businesses, structure transactions and work closely with product partners across the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and develop a portfolio of UK corporate clients across a range of sectors
2. Build trusted relationships with CFOs, finance directors and senior stakeholders
3. Lead credit analysis, risk assessment and preparation of high-quality credit papers
4. Identify and originate new lending opportunities, including acquisition finance, working capital, refinancing and structured solutions
5. Work closely with product teams including Leveraged Finance, Trade Finance, Capital Markets and Treasury
6. Drive revenue growth through relationship development and strategic client planning
7. Take ownership of transactions from origination through execution

Candidate Profile:

1. Proven experience within UK Corporate Banking, ideally covering mid-market or large corporate clients
2. Strong credit skills with the ability to independently assess business models, financial performance and risk
3. Experience preparing and presenting credit submissions
4. Strong relationship management and origination capability
5. Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and grow client relationships
6. Comfortable working across internal stakeholders and product teams
