SW Engineer III C++ Developer

We are seeking an experienced SW Engineer III – C++ Developer with strong hands-on experience in C++ development on Windows, modern C++ (C++11+), Python, and software design. The ideal candidate will have experience developing high-quality software, automated testing, networking/socket communication, debugging complex systems, and working in Agile environments. Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and problem-solving skills are required. Experience with retail, Point of Sale (POS), payment systems, or high-availability applications is highly preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++ (C++11 and above) on the Windows platform.
• Develop Python-based automation and implement BDD/test automation using Cucumber, Behave, Gherkin, and unit testing frameworks such as Google Test or cppUnit.
• Design and troubleshoot complex software and hardware systems, including TCP/IP, socket-level communications, networking, and system integrations.
• Participate in software architecture, technical design, code reviews, testing, effort estimation, documentation, and end-to-end feature delivery.
• Work in an Agile development environment with tools such as Jira and Confluence, collaborating with cross-functional engineering and customer support teams.
• Mentor junior engineers, promote software engineering best practices, and provide technical guidance on coding, testing, debugging, and emerging technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues while maintaining high standards for software quality, security, PCI compliance, data protection, and high-availability solutions.
