Principal Mobile Engineer
Introduction:
Join Nice North America, a subsidiary of Nice S.p.A., a global leader in Home and Building Automation, as a Principal Mobile Engineer. In this role, you will lead the modernization of our iOS and Android application ecosystem, collaborating with a talented team to shape connected products in access control, security, gate and door automation, and IoT-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Own the strategy, architecture, and modernization of the mobile ecosystem
- Define and execute the North America mobile roadmap
- Assess current applications and make decisions on modernization
- Deliver high-quality code through feature development and optimization
- Elevate engineering standards across release processes and compliance
- Track and adapt to iOS and Android platform changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless connected-device experiences
- Build strong relationships to drive aligned execution
- Project-based assignments as requested
Requirements:
Required:
- 8+ years of experience building and shipping mobile applications on iOS and Android
- Experience with React Native, CI/CD pipelines, and Atlassian tools
- Knowledge of IoT, API integration, and continuous delivery
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Ability to work with Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, and Java
- Deep understanding of mobile architecture and security principles
Preferred:
- Experience with connected devices, hardware integration, and AI-assisted development tools
- Familiarity with AWS services
- Ability to use Figma for prototyping and collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Computer literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft applications
