Experience: 6+ years About the Role:
As a Senior Unix/Linux Administrator, you’ll keep mission-critical Navy systems secure, optimized, and performing at their peak. You’ll use your deep technical expertise to manage large enterprise environments where reliability is everything. What You’ll Do: Administer, configure, and harden Unix/Linux systems. Maintain system backups, performance tuning, and patch management. Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs and cybersecurity standards. Troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues and automate key processes. What You’ll Bring: 6+ years of Unix/Linux administration experience. IAT Level III certification required. Knowledge of TCP/IP, network security, and shell scripting. Ability to think ahead, anticipate issues, and act decisively.
