Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Business Development Manager will drive new business opportunities in the real estate segment by identifying prospective clients along with a dedicated team. Driving revenue and maintaining positive PnL of the team.

Building and presenting Square Yards' suite of prop-tech and real estate solutions. The role involves Managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure. Driving closures and align product with client needs with platform capabilities and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining an up-to-date sales pipeline, tracking market trends, Tracking and training the team, Enabling team mates with sales. Preparing performance reports, and representing the company at client meetings, events, and industry forums.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales preferably in Ed-Tech, real estate, prop-tech, financial services, or related industries.
  • Handled a team of 15+ team size.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in sales-driven roles.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, Deal Closure, and consultative selling, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Solid understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision-making to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal teams.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a solutions-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and basic proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace for reporting and documentation.
