Direct Sales Manager | Shelby Township, MI | Hybrid This employer is seeking a seasoned sales leader to manage a team of Outside Sales Representatives focused on residential home security and automation solutions. The role offers a unique blend of field leadership and office oversight, driving team success and individual performance. The Role • Lead and coach a team of Outside Sales Representatives selling home security and automation products. • Be responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and motivating sales team members. • Oversee daily sales activities, assign leads, and track team performance. • Spend approximately 70% of time in the field conducting ride-alongs and motivating the team, and 30% in the office managing operations and development. • Ensure team adherence to sales requirements and contribute to controlling attrition. What You'll Need • Proven experience in outside sales, with supervisory or management experience preferred. • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team. • Proficiency with technical devices such as laptops and tablets. • Ability to travel within assigned territories using a reliable personal vehicle. • Strong understanding of sales processes and performance metrics.
