Software Developer with Security Clearance

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer to join our team. While this position is remote, a one-time trip to the Clarksburg, WV customer site is required for in-processing with the customer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
* Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions.
* Designs or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
* Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
* Researches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.
* Sets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.
* Designs embedded systems software and applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in computer science and 4+ years of IT related experience, 6+ year's w/Associate's OR 2+ year's w/Master's or 8 years with a HS diploma.
* At least 4 years' hands on development experience with Java in Linux environments, NodeJS, and Angular.
* At least 4 years' experience developing in Agile / Scrum environment.
* Experience with AWS, AWS Lambdas.
* Ability to develop program logic for new applications or analyze existing applications.
* Experienced with codes, tests, debugs and maintaining software applications.
* Ability to analyze requirements and maintain test and integrate applications and solve a range of problems independently. Clearance Requirements: * Must have a current/active Secret clearance. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
* Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
* Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
* Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
