Boomi Architect

• Build and support integrations between SAP systems, Mainframe applications, databases, APIs, and other enterprise platforms.
• Develop Boomi processes using maps, connectors, business rules, process shapes, exception handling, and reusable components.
• Work with SAP integration technologies such as SAP IDoc, BAPI, RFC, OData, and SOAP/REST APIs.
• Integrate SAP applications with Mainframe systems, including COBOL-based applications, DB2, VSAM, MQ, and file-based interfaces.
• Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs and support API-based integration patterns.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data mapping issues, connectivity problems, and production incidents.
• Monitor Boomi processes and ensure reliable data movement across enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with SAP, Mainframe, application development, infrastructure, and business teams to define integration requirements.
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Implement appropriate logging, error handling, retry mechanisms, and monitoring for integration workflows.
• Prepare technical documentation, interface specifications, data mappings, and deployment procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Dell Boomi.
• Strong experience developing enterprise integrations using Boomi.
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP with external applications.
• Experience with SAP IDoc, BAPI, RFC, OData, SOAP/REST integrations.
• Understanding of Mainframe technologies, preferably COBOL, DB2, VSAM, JCL, or MQ.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, and web services.
• Experience with data transformation and mapping within Boomi.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
• Experience with integration patterns, error handling, logging, and monitoring.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
