TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner to join their growing HR team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering with operational leaders, influencing business decisions, and delivering practical people solutions in a fast-paced environment.
You'll play a key role in supporting managers across the business, providing expert HR advice while driving employee engagement, workforce planning, recruitment, performance, and organisational development.
The Role
As HR Business Partner, you'll act as a trusted advisor to managers, ensuring people strategies align with business objectives while supporting a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
You'll be responsible for managing a broad range of Employee Relations matters, coaching leaders, supporting recruitment activities, and using HR data to drive improvements across the business.

You'll be responsible for managing a broad range of Employee Relations matters, coaching leaders, supporting recruitment activities, and using HR data to drive improvements across the business.
Key Responsibilities
You'll build strong relationships with managers and provide commercially focused HR guidance across all areas of the employee lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a wide range of Employee Relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
- Coaching and developing managers to build confidence in people management and leadership.
- Supporting workforce planning, succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- Working closely with hiring managers to support recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies.
- Monitoring HR metrics including headcount, turnover, absence and recruitment performance, using data to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Supporting organisational change projects, restructures and business improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring HR policies are applied consistently and remain compliant with UK employment legislation.
- Supporting and mentoring HR Administrators while acting as an escalation point for complex HR matters.
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
- Strong hands-on Employee Relations experience within a fast-paced business.
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (minimum).
- The confidence to coach, influence and challenge managers at all levels.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Working within a unionised environment.
- Supporting operational or site-based workforces.
- Experience with organisational change, restructures or TUPE.
