Telephony Engineer – AI Conversation Specialist (Kore.ai)

Introduction:

We are looking for an experienced Telephony Engineer who specializes in AI Conversations, particularly with expertise in Kore.ai. This role involves designing and supporting AI-powered voice/IVR solutions, building conversational flows, and integrating telephony systems with AI technology.

Responsibilities:

• Design and support AI-powered voice/IVR solutions
• Build conversational flows and virtual agents
• Tune intents, entities, and NLP for optimal performance
• Integrate Kore.ai with Five9 and other backend systems
• Troubleshoot complex telephony issues

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Telephony/Conversational AI Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Kore.ai XO, Five9, IVR, SIP/SBC, and API integrations
• Knowledge of SIP, SIP Headers, RTP, SBC/AudioCodes, REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks, OAuth 2.0, NLP, and conversational AI
• Experience with PBX and omnichannel contact-center technologies

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Dialogflow CX, Amazon Lex V2, or Cognigy
• Experience in comparable conversational AI technologies
• Proficiency in natural language processing (NLP)
