Associate Project Planner

* Location: Lake County, IL – Hybrid

* Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday onsite

* Duration: 7 Months

* Local candidates only – No relocation

* AMP / Planisware / Microsoft Project experience

* Strong understanding of Critical Path (Micro & Macro)

* Pharmaceutical / Biotech Development knowledge

* Project Management experience

* Experience working effectively in a matrixed environment

* Support complex drug development projects with planning, tracking, reporting, and coordination

* Develop and maintain project plans and planning scenarios

* Track action items, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies

* Support Project Managers with monthly project plan maintenance and reporting

* Analyze project data, metrics, and performance

* Identify risks, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions

* Coordinate with Managers, Directors, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams

* Identify process improvement opportunities and develop guidelines/checklists

* Provide project management system administration, training, and support

* Bachelor’s degree in technical, scientific, or project management-related field preferred

* 4+ years of professional experience in project management, system-based processes, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry

* Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience may qualify

* PMP / Lean Six Sigma certification preferred

* Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills

* Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, QlikView, Spotfire, or similar tools
