Position Overview
We are seeking a Network Manager to lead and oversee enterprise network operations supporting a large federal mission environment. This role combines hands-on technical oversight with people and project management responsibilities, ensuring secure, resilient, and high-availability network services.
The Network Manager will be responsible for guiding a team of network professionals, managing daily operations, overseeing incident resolution, and collaborating with stakeholders to evolve and improve network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
Manage network administration and support operations for an enterprise environment
Supervise and mentor a team of network engineers and support personnel
Ensure timely completion of projects, tasks, and operational deliverables
Oversee incident response, change requests, and service restoration activities
Coordinate with customers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure mission success
Drive identification and removal of technical and operational impediments
Evaluate current network solutions and recommend improvements for security, redundancy, and fault tolerance
Ensure alignment with organizational policies, processes, and strategic goals
Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and operational trends Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree 10+ years of professional network-related experience
Demonstrated experience in: Network design and engineering
Performance and capacity management
Network monitoring and incident isolation
Network configuration management Proven experience managing technical teams and complex operational environments
Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Certifications
CISSP
CASP+
ITIL
Project Management certification Clearance Requirements
Must possess an active Top Secret or Q clearance Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Q clearance as a condition of employment Location Requirement This position requires onsite presence in Washington, DC or Albuquerque, NM Compensation
