Job Description

Job Role: SAP Business Consultant Location: Remote Duration: 12+ Months
MUST-Have: SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)
Role Descriptions:
  • Experience with SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) and financial reporting dashboards.
  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Familiarity with IFRS 18 reporting standards.
  • SAP certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance or Group Reporting.
  • Experience working in a global, multi-entity consolidation environment.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day AMS support for SAP Group Reporting, including incident management, problem resolution, and change requests in line with SLA commitments.
  • Configure and maintain SAP Group Reporting objects, including consolidation units, versions, hierarchies, elimination rules, and currency translation methods.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial close activities, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial data.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Manage and resolve tickets via ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), ensuring root cause analysis and preventive action for recurring issues.
  • Support integration between SAP Group Reporting and SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal, as well as other feeder systems.
  • Participate in upgrades, patches, and enhancements to the SAP Group Reporting landscape.
  • Conduct unit testing, regression testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for system changes.
  • Maintain up-to-date functional and technical documentation (configuration guides, test scripts, SOPs).
  • Support intercompany reconciliation, eliminations, and reporting processes.
  • Work with SAP Analysis Objects for reporting and data visualization where applicable.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the AMS team. Stay current with SAP product roadmaps and emerging Group Reporting capabilities
