Azure DevOps Engineer

A growing engineering team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support and enhance their CI/CD ecosystem, with a focus on Azure DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and containerized environments. This is an opportunity where the individual will play a key role in maintaining and improving build and release pipelines while collaborating with cross functional teams across engineering and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys hands on pipeline work, thrives in collaborative environments, and is comfortable owning deployment processes end to end. Contract Duration: 3+ months on W2
Must be local to the Chicago area.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands on DevOps experience
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps and pipeline management
• Experience supporting CI CD pipelines, builds, and releases
• Experience troubleshooting deployments and performing rollback
• Hands on experience with Docker and containerization
• Experience with Git workflows including pull requests and code reviews
• Ability to work cross functionally with engineering and infrastructure teams

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Understanding of networking fundamentals such as HTTP and DNS
• Exposure to monitoring, alerting, and automation tools
