Job Description

job summary:

Looking for a Procurement Manager of Software and Hardware to lead enterprise-wide sourcing


initiatives and contract negotiations for Software and SaaS solutions. In this role, you will


collaborate with key stakeholders across Technology, Engineering, and Security teams to drive


cost optimization, enhance service quality, and ensure risk mitigation in supplier agreements.


? Lead complex sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations for Software and SaaS


solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.


? Create and manage the RFx processes for complex products and services from strategic


requirements to solution evaluation and formal award


? Develop and execute supplier negotiation strategies to maximize buying power, optimize


costs, and enhance service quality while mitigating risks.


? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, security, and legal to


ensure all contract controls and protections are in place


? Drive cost savings and cost avoidance by proactively identifying new opportunities, such


as consolidation opportunities, license optimization and multi-year agreements


? Manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure performance, cost efficiency, and


contractual compliance.


? Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify new sourcing


opportunities.


? Implement procurement best practices and optimize Software and SaaS spend.


OUR IDEAL SOURCING MANAGER FOR SAAS WILL HAVE:


? Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field (MBA or


relevant certifications such as CPSM or CIPS are a plus).


? 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, with


a strong focus on Software and SaaS solutions.


? Deep understanding of SaaS licensing models, pricing structures, and legal


considerations.


? Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and decision-making skills.


? Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.


? Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


? Proven experience collaborating with global teams and cross-functional stakeholders.


? Excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrable experience in


preparing presentations to financial and business leaders


? Keen understanding of a wide array of IT contract forms including SaaS, Software


licensing, Hardware maintenance, MNDA, MSA, DPA & SOW's
