Managed Public Cloud Platform Technical Team Lead

The Managed Public Cloud Platform Technical Team Lead is a senior, hands on leadership role in Brennan's Managed Digital Services division. You will lead a team of cloud consultants to deliver reliable, secure managed outcomes for clients, while creating a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and great customer experience. This is a leadership role with accountability for a global team, requiring regular customer engagement and on site presence to support key accounts, complex escalations, and trust based technical advisory.

Location: Brisbane - Permanent Full Time.

Skills & Experience required
  • Proven, relevant experience in a Tech leadership or Team lead role and ability to demonstrate technical team management
  • Relevant experience in a senior technical role
  • Comprehensive experience in core enterprise applications
  • Technical competence across Public Cloud Technology
  • Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-204 or AZ-305 - Certification and experience managing Public Cloud environments
  • Identify financial implications and challenge the risk of business and/or project decisions
  • Maintain effective stakeholder involvement and engagement with the decision making process
  • Problem Solver and analytical
  • Excellent negotiator and influencer
  • Strong decision making and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to train, coach and mentor staff
  • Ability to delegate effectively

  • ITIL certification and/or experience
  • Experience with cloud observability and monitoring platforms (e.g. Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Datadog or equivalent)
Desirable
  • Prior experience within an outsourced service delivery environment
  • Project Management
  • Technical Risk Management
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience - Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
  • Familiarity with AI assisted operations and automation tooling (e.g. Copilot for Azure, scripted remediation, workflow automation)
  • Multi cloud exposure (AWS or GCP) in addition to core Azure competency
  • Cloud cost optimisation and FinOps principles - experience managing and reporting on cloud spend, identifying waste, and driving cost efficiency for clients
