 TWO Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADCs) to serve as SUD Program Leads for our client,  You''ll manage a caseload of clients working through co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges, leading assessments, treatment planning, and group facilitation with a trauma-informed lens in the Adult Co-Occurring Recovery (CORe) and Youth Co-Occurring Recovery (YCORe) programs.

What you''ll do:

  • Manage individual client cases from intake through completion, including Comprehensive Assessments and DAANES
  • Facilitate and co-facilitate SUD groups 4 days/week (group counseling, skills training, peer support, psychoeducation) with both adults and youth populations
  • Complete intake orientation, risk assessments, and integrated treatment planning in collaboration with providers
  • Apply trauma-informed approaches as defined by SAMHSA throughout all client interactions
  • Ensure documentation meets 245G and CCBHC compliance standards
  • Support MAT program intakes and coordinate discharge planning
  • Facilitate monthly family psychoeducation sessions and connect with community partners
  • Effectively document in Electronic Health Records (NextGen, DAANES) and state data systems
  • Provide individual care coordination and treatment counseling sessions

What you bring:

  • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) through the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy (compliant with MN Statute 148C) 
  • Dually licensed with an independent mental health services license (e.g., LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP)
  • Ability to work effectively with both adults and youth populations
  • At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or chemical use challenges
  • 2+ year of experience as a Social Worker in a public or private social services agency (preferred)
  • Comfort working with hostile, dangerous, unstable, or involuntary clients in both office and community settings
  • Strong documentation skills in Electronic Health Records and state data systems
  • Current CPR, NARCAN, and HIV trainings (or willingness to obtain)

Tools & Systems You''ll Use:

Outlook, NextGen (EHR), Microsoft Teams, DAANES, and other state data systems

Schedule:

Two shift options available:

  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (CORe program)
  • 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (YCORe program)
  • Occasional evenings/weekend availability for family sessions may be required.
