Business Support Partner
Location:
Telford (Hybrid - 3 days in the office) Salary:
£23.51 - £24.92 per hour Full Time | around 3 months Temp
As a Business Support Partner, you'll act as a trusted partner to the Director and senior leadership team, helping to coordinate, monitor, and deliver key strategic and operational activities. You'll play a crucial role in governance, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement, ensuring priorities are delivered effectively and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership to ensure strategic priorities are delivered efficiently.
Monitor business activities, track progress, identify risks, and escalate issues where required.
Manage governance processes, including policy reviews, risk registers, and governance meetings.
Prepare agendas, action trackers, reports, and board/committee documentation.
Coordinate audit schedules and monitor follow-up actions.
Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and operational processes.
Support business continuity planning and compliance activities.
Track key operational metrics and ensure adherence to organisational policies and procedures.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a business support, business partnering, or operational support role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate documentation and reports.
Confident stakeholder management and influencing skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems such as SharePoint.
Desirable Experience
Knowledge of governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance processes.
