Software Engineer II | Stone Mountain, GA, United States | Hybrid | $89,400.00 - $134,000.00 per year

This employer is a well-established organization known for its innovative approach within the automotive industry. They are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join a dynamic Agile development team, contributing to the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of critical applications.

The Role

  • Develop custom software solutions as part of an Agile development team.
  • Configure, analyze, develop, maintain, and refactor program code and applications to support business requirements and minimize technical debt.
  • Translate logical information models into efficient physical database designs.
  • Ensure seamless and efficient integration between various applications and critical integration points.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, taking ownership through to resolution.
  • Document key work and maintain a thorough understanding of assigned applications and projects.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Bootstrap, Hibernate, HTML5, and Web Services.
  • Demonstrable experience in JavaScript and HTML5 development.
  • Intermediate SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently, be a self-starter, and function effectively within a diverse, high-performing team.
