Job Description

Senior Digital Marketing Manager

Liverpool - Hybrid

Salary up to 60k - DOE

My client, a leading Professional Services business, is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to drive their business digital strategy, enhance online visibility, and deliver measurable business growth through SEO, content, website optimisation, and demand generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the businesses digital strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Act as the senior digital adviser to leadership.
  • Establish digital governance, reporting, and best practice across the business.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance through innovation and emerging technologies.
  • Lead ongoing development of the website, focusing on UX, accessibility, performance, and lead conversion.
  • Implement content and publishing standards.
  • Develop and execute SEO and GEO (AI search visibility) strategies.
  • Improve rankings, organic traffic, authority, and lead generation.
  • Drive technical SEO, content optimisation, and digital PR initiatives.
  • Lead the digital content strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership team and subject matter experts to create high-quality, client-focused content.
  • Support thought leadership and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Oversee paid media activity and acquisition strategies.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
  • Use data and insights to optimise performance and improve ROI.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Manage agency partnerships and digital suppliers.
  • Lead and develop the team while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.

Skills Required:

  • Must have extensive experience working in a similar Senior Digital Marketing role.
  • Preferably experience within legal, professional services, or another regulated sector - desirable
  • Proven success delivering digital strategies that drive growth and lead generation.
  • Strong expertise in SEO, content marketing, website optimisation, analytics, and paid media.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders, agencies, budgets, and digital projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience with AI search optimisation and emerging digital technologies.

Salary up to 60k - depending on experience

Hybrid working, 24 days holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme
