Role Overview
The Physical Security Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, workforce planning, project execution support, financial performance, technician utilization, and continuous improvement initiatives. This individual will work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Physical Security Services organization
• Develop workforce plans and resource forecasts to maximize technician utilization and productivity
• Coordinate project staffing, scheduling, and manpower allocation across multiple projects
• Monitor labor performance, project profitability, gross margins, and WIP reporting
• Partner with Project Managers and field leadership to support successful project execution
• Drive operational process improvements, SOP development, and best-practice standardization
• Coach, mentor, and develop Supervisors, Project Leads, Coordinators, and Technicians
• Support customer escalations, operational planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote OSHA compliance, workplace safety, and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7 years of operations leadership experience within Physical Security, Low Voltage, Construction, Technology Integration, or similar environments
• Minimum 5 years managing field operations and technical personnel
• Strong understanding of:
  • Budgeting
  • Forecasting
  • Labor utilization
  • Gross margin management
  • WIP reporting
• Experience interpreting construction drawings and project specifications
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
• No clearance required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with physical security technologies including:
  • Access Control
  • CCTV / Video Surveillance
  • Intrusion Detection
  • Integrated Security Platforms
• Experience with Verkada, Brivo, Eagle Eye, Wisenet Wave, Hirsch/Identiv, Avigilon, Milestone, or Ocularis
• Experience with ERP, workforce management, project delivery, or ServiceNow platforms
• Proven track record driving operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, Sales, Project Management, and Executive Leadership

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
