Job Description

Position Title: Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
Location: Westwood, MA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6-month C2H)

Seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the company''s enterprise cybersecurity program. Reporting to the CIO, the CISO will be responsible for defining and executing the organization''s cybersecurity vision, governance framework, risk management strategy, and security operations across corporate IT and manufacturing environments.
This executive leader will partner with business and technology stakeholders to strengthen the organization''s cyber resilience while enabling business growth, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Master''s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive IT and cybersecurity experience.
  • 7+ years leading enterprise cybersecurity organizations.
  • Experience serving as a CISO, Deputy CISO, or Director of Information Security.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise security architecture.
  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong executive communication and leadership skills.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within manufacturing, industrial, or chemical organizations.
  • Experience securing Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
  • Experience supporting global organizations.
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and IT integration initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native security platforms.
  • Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture.
Certifications
Preferred certifications include:
  • CISSP
  • CISM
  • CISA
  • CRISC
  • CCSP
  • GIAC certifications
  • Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) (preferred)
