Job Summary

We are looking for an Entry-Level Data Engineer to support the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud-based data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Write Python, PySpark, and SQL for data processing and transformation.
• Extract, clean, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Work with relational databases and data warehouses.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers.
• Document data processes and follow development standards.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including internships or academic projects.
• Strong foundation in Python and SQL.
• Basic knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Basic understanding of PySpark or Apache Spark.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Databricks or Delta Lake.
• Familiarity with Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar orchestration tools.
• Exposure to Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
