Job Description

Service Engineer / Onsite Support Engineer<br />Location:

West Midlands (covering regional sites)<br />Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE<br />Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established uPVC conservatory installation company who are looking to recruit an experienced Service Engineer / Onsite Support Engineer to join their team.<br />This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in uPVC windows, doors, and conservatory installations, who enjoys providing technical support, fault finding, and delivering high-quality solutions for customers across the West Midlands.<br />The Role:<br />As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending customer sites, diagnosing issues, carrying out repairs, and providing technical support across a range of uPVC products.

You will play a key role in maintaining the company’s reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.<br />Key Responsibilities:<br />• Attend onsite visits across the West Midlands to investigate and resolve technical issues<br />• Diagnose and repair faults with uPVC windows, doors, and conservatory installations<br />• Carry out adjustments, replacements, and remedial works where required<br />• Provide expert technical support and advice to customers<br />• Identify installation issues and recommend effective solutions<br />• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with company expectations<br />• Complete service reports and communicate findings back to the wider team<br />• Represent the company professionally when attending customer properties<br />The Ideal Candidate:<br />• Proven experience working with uPVC windows, doors, and conservatories (essential)<br />• Strong knowledge of installation, servicing, adjustments, and repairs<br />• Previous experience in a service engineer, installation engineer, or field-based role<br />• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills<br />• Confident working independently while managing your own schedule<br />• Strong customer service and communication skills<br />• Full UK driving licence required<br />Package:<br />Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience<br />Location:
