This is a Temporary Full-Time Opportunity (38 hours per week) reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager and will work onsite at our Macquarie Park Headquarters.

You'll make a difference in this role by:
- Manage, maintain and optimise NextSense's core IT infrastructure, including networks, Microsoft 365, cloud and on-premises environments, business applications, security, disaster recovery, and collaboration services.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, proactively identify and resolve issues, and drive continuous improvements to service reliability, resilience and security.
- Provide Level 3 technical support by investigating, resolving and documenting complex infrastructure issues, while following IT service and change management processes.
- Implement new infrastructure technologies and upgrades, maintain technical documentation, and stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
- Ensure the security, integrity and availability of IT systems and information by adhering to organisational security standards, policies and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to a safe, collaborative workplace by supporting organisational values, undertaking occasional travel as required, and performing other reasonable duties as directed
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years' experience administering Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, Microsoft Authenticator, Windows Server, and file servers.
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise IT environments, including Microsoft 365 tenancies (400+ users), backup solutions (e.g. Veeam or AvePoint), networking (routing, switching, firewalls and VPNs), virtualisation (VMware or Hyper V), SIEM, and application packaging.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills, with a current NSW Driver Licence.
- Compliance with Child Protection legislation and a commitment to understanding and adhering to NextSense's child protection policies and procedures.
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and National Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain) are required.
- Experience with technologies such as NinjaOne, Sophos MDR, Microsoft Defender XDR/Endpoint, Purview, Azure administration, Zoom (Meetings, Phone and Teams Rooms), print services, and security frameworks including Essential Eight, NIST and ISO 27001
NextSense is a child safe organisation, candidate compliance with child protection legislation is essential.
