The Role

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, including 3-phase, single-phase, and low-voltage DC schematics.
• Create electrical bills of material, purchased parts lists, and cable routing documentation.
• Interpret customer requirements for electrical and control components by collaborating with various departments.
• Assist in determining power requirements and troubleshooting electrical systems for customers.
• Support the work order process by participating in sales order meetings to confirm design needs.
• Coordinate with procurement to identify and manage long lead-time items.

What You'll Need

• Associate's degree or equivalent knowledge/experience in a related field.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and 2D CAD design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC) and UL requirements.
• Ability to select appropriate components, size starters, breakers, wiring, and conduit.
• Skill in reading electrical ladder diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical circuits.
