Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect with strong experience designing enterprise-scale, cloud-native, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have deep practical expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) , combined with knowledge of modern architecture methodologies, integration, data, cloud, security, modernization, and AI architectures.

Key Responsibilities

      • Define current-state, target-state, and transition architectures aligned with business strategy.

      • Apply DDD to complex business problems and translate business capabilities into domain-aligned technology architectures.

      • Create architecture models using the C4 Model, including Context, Container, Component, and Deployment diagrams.

      • Define application, integration, data, cloud, security, and technology architectures.

      • Establish architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, ADRs, and technology roadmaps.

      • Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction to engineering and product teams.

      • Evaluate architectural trade-offs across scalability, reliability, security, performance, cost, and maintainability.

      • Guide legacy modernization and transformation initiatives.

Domain-Driven Design – Core Expertise

Strong practical experience with Strategic and Tactical DDD is required. The architect should be able to:

      • Identify business domains, subdomains, core domains, supporting domains, and generic domains.

      • Perform domain decomposition based on business capabilities and business processes.

      • Define Bounded Contexts and establish clear ownership and boundaries between domains.

      • Create Context Maps and define relationships between bounded contexts.

      • Facilitate Event Storming and domain modeling workshops with business and technical stakeholders.

      • Establish and maintain a Ubiquitous Language between domain experts, product owners, architects, and developers.

      • Identify and model: Entities, Value Objects, Aggregates and Aggregate Roots, Domain Services, Application Services, Repositories, Domain Events, Domain Policies, Define Aggregate boundaries and transaction boundaries.

      • Translate DDD models into microservices, modular monoliths, APIs, events, and data ownership boundaries.

      • Understand when DDD is appropriate and avoid unnecessary domain complexity.

The architect should demonstrate how DDD drives the architecture, rather than using DDD only as a modeling or documentation technique.

C4 Architecture – Core Expertise

Strong hands-on experience with the C4 Model:

      • System Context diagrams

      • Container diagrams

      • Component diagrams

      • Deployment diagrams

      • Architecture landscapes

      • System and service dependencies

Experience with Structurizr, PlantUML, Mermaid, Draw.io, or Lucidchart is preferred.
