Full-time role on-site in Pontiac, MI. Client will pay for relocation.

Responsibilities

Define, implement, and manage Azure landing zones with a focus on scalability, governance, and security
Design and manage enterprise cloud architectures across networking, identity, compute, and storage
Lead on-premises to Azure migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, re-architect)
Manage and guide governance, tagging standards, and policy compliance
Manage and plan post-cloud migration roadmaps and guide to execute designed solutions as needed to solve post-migration problems with legacy on-prem applications post-migration
Design and manage high availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency strategies for mission-critical systems
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (FAR, DFARS, ITAR, CMMC)
Provide technical leadership and collaborate with stakeholders to drive cloud adoption and modernization

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5 years in Azure architecture roles
Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services (networking, identity, governance, monitoring, compute, storage)
Proven track record designing enterprise-grade Azure solutions and executing migrations from on-premises to Azure
Strong knowledge of cloud governance, compliance, and security frameworks
Experience leading cloud migration programs for legacy applications, data centers, and workloads
Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience guiding technical teams and engaging executive stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
Experience with Azure migration tooling and methodologies (Azure Migrate, ASR, Database Migration Service)
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 GCC High
