Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Support Team Leader, the Technical Support Engineer will be based at our Notting Hill head office in Victoria. You will play a key role in delivering effective service as directed (geographically, by product, by task, etc.) to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue, and contract development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inbound customer service calls, initial screening for prioritisation, and phone support;
  • Record service calls into the database for action;
  • Timely and effective handling of service requests;
  • Coordinate and perform "return to base" preventive maintenance;
  • Assembly, configuration, and testing of new devices;
  • Ensure service loan devices are fully maintained and in requisite working order;
  • Provide additional on-site breakdown service and/or preventive maintenance resourcing to support customers across ANZ;
  • Convey potential leads to the Sales team;
  • Identify and report quality issues from the field to internal stakeholders;
  • Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and;
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Biomedical or Electronics Engineering;
  • 3+ years' experience in the Medical Devices industry;
  • Workshop or Field Service experience;
  • Desire and ability to efficiently learn technical products;
  • Proficiency with SAP, CRM, and Microsoft tools;
  • Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast paced environment;
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn;
  • Exemplary understanding of compliance rules and ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and;
  • Excellent customer focus, problem solving, analytical, organisational, task management and communication skills;
  • Current Driver's License.
