Job Description

Title                   : Manufacturing Engineer II – Welder (3rd Shift)

Location           : Davenport, IA

Contract           : 12+ Months Contract with Possibility to Extend

Shift                 : 3rd Shift (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM)

 

Details:

·        In this role as a 3rd shift welding manufacturing engineer, you will have responsibilities related to keeping production running during 3rd shift operations in the Fabrication department at Davenport Works.

·        Duties will include but are not limited to, supporting operators, maintenance, and salary support staff.

·        This could include trouble shooting MES systems, automated or manual welding processes, training operators, and other production supporting related tasks.

·        This role will require weekend support depending on production needs.

·        Additional responsibilities will include project or process development and documentation.

·        3rd shift hours, 10pm to 6am. Overtime will be required. Weekend coverage will be required.

·        Experience with manual and robotic welding systems. Fanuc Preferred.

·        Ability to support production through execution of new or existing processes.

·        Ability to troubleshoot automated and/or manual processes.

·        Ability to communicate in English, verbal and written.

·        Ability to navigate ambiguous situations.

·        Ability to work alone as well as in a group setting.

·        Ability to follow up with group communications or work tickets.

·        Ability to document work.

·        Ability to use Microsoft products such as Excel and Outlook
