Location: London (hybrid work pattern 2 days office)
Salary Banding: £100k-£140k + benefits

The Company
Our client, a fast growing organisation in the renewable energy sector is seeking an experience Electrical Design Engineer with a track record in the energy sector.

The Role

As Electrical Design Engineer you will take ownership of engineering activities through the project lifecycle through technical design, client and supplier engagement through to installation.

You will manage and coordinate multiple projects collaborating with our Project management team.

This is a pivotal role in delivering our clients energy solutions for commercial and industrial clients.

As Electrical Design Engineer you will lead on the development of electrical designs and schematics.

You will working closely with our suppliers and contractors to review their work.

As Electrical Design Engineer you will provide expert advice for our suppliers and customers.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a Degree or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Ideally Chartered Engineer status (or actively working towards chartership) through a relevant professional institution.

You will have proven success in the electrical engineering field, in the design, specification, and/or construction of solar PV and BESS projects, gained within a consultancy, EPC contractor, or developer environment.

You will have a strong background in relevant projects and applications across the renewable energy sector with a proven track record in complex engineering projects.

Ability to prepare high-quality technical reports, specifications, and client-facing documentation.

Proven ability to manage client relationships and provide technical leadership.

Experience reviewing and approving engineering designs and deliverables.

You will be calm, pragmatic and structured under pressure.

You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment with a hands-on approach

Highly motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Strong attention to detail, with a diligent and proactive approach to project delivery.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
