Android Automation Engineer

Seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in Android device automation testing and test framework development. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on automation experience and expertise in Playwright, Java programming, and Kafka framework automation. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Android-based applications and systems. The candidate should be capable of building scalable automation frameworks, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end testing initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Android device testing.
Create and execute automated test scripts using Playwright or similar automation tools.
Develop automation solutions using Java and industry-standard design patterns.
Build and maintain automation for Kafka-based messaging and event-driven applications.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Enhance automation coverage and improve testing efficiency across applications and platforms.
Support CI/CD integration and ensure automation execution within release pipelines.
Collaborate with business, development, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Technical Skills:
Strong experience with Playwright Automation.
Hands-on experience with Java programming.
Experience automating and validating Kafka-based applications and message flows.
Knowledge of Android device testing and mobile automation concepts.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Experience with test automation framework development and maintenance.
