Job Title - Business Development Manager - IT (AI / Digital / Development Projects)
Industry - Information Technology (IT)
Location - Chennai, India (Onsite)
Reporting To - Business Head - Australia Head Office
Experience Required - 3 to 5 Years
Employment Type - Full-Time
CTC - 6 to 7 LPA + Incentives 5% for each client with cap of 5Lakhs for each client
Incentive Structure - Performance-based Unlimited Client Closures

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven and articulate Business Development Manager with a strong background in the IT sector - spanning AI, digital transformation, and software development projects - to join our growing team in Chennai. This is an exciting onsite opportunity for a results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-led sales environment. You will work closely with our Business Head based in our Australia Head Office, playing a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities globally.
The ideal candidate is a LinkedIn Sales Navigator power user, a confident communicator, and someone who keeps abreast of the latest developments in business communication and the IT industry landscape.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify, prospect, and engage with high-value leads across target markets.
Execute end-to-end digital sales cycles - from lead generation and qualification through to proposal, negotiation, and closure.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of IT sector clients with no cap on the number of accounts managed.
Collaborate directly with the Business Head (Australia HQ) through regular reporting, strategy calls, and performance reviews.
Prepare polished, industry-standard business proposals, presentations, and client communications.
Stay current with IT industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving digital sales best practices.
Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets to qualify for performance-based incentives.
Represent the company's brand professionally across all digital and communication channels.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Technical & Platform Expertise
Demonstrated expert-level proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator (lead lists, InMail strategy, Boolean search, account mapping).
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in digital sales, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
Solid understanding of IT products and services - particularly in AI solutions, digital transformation initiatives, and software/application development projects.
Familiarity with CRM tools and digital sales engagement platforms.
Communication & Documentation
Exceptional written English - capable of crafting compelling proposals, emails, and business documents to global industry standards.
Strong verbal communication skills for client calls, presentations, and cross-timezone coordination with the Australia office.
Ability to produce business documents aligned with current industry norms and professional communication standards.
Experience working in or communicating with international stakeholders is highly advantageous.

Strong organisational skills to manage a large and growing client portfolio independently.
Adaptable to working across time zones and reporting to a remote business head.

COMPENSATION & INCENTIVES
We offer a competitive base salary complemented by a performance-based incentive scheme with no ceiling on earnings. Every client closure earns a reward, and there is no restriction on the number of clients you can bring on board - your income is limited only by your ambition and performance.
Competitive fixed monthly salary (commensurate with experience).
Incentive payout on every successful client closure - with 5L cap for each closure
Direct visibility and mentorship from the Business Head at Australia HQ.
